We supply businesses locally and nationwide. Enter your delivery address in the basket to see the methods, dates and charges available for your order.

When is local delivery free?

Local van delivery is free on orders over £50. Any charge for a smaller order is shown before checkout.

Can I collect my order?

Yes. Collection is available Monday to Friday, 6am–1pm, from our Stanley premises. Please wait until your order is ready before travelling.

What happens if an item is unavailable?

We will remove the unavailable item and refund the relevant amount to the original card. The available part of the order remains valid and paid. Credit-account orders are corrected against the company account.

How long does a card refund take?

We process the refund promptly, but the time it takes to appear is controlled by the customer’s bank. The customer receives a partial-refund email from the website.

How do variable-weight joints work?

The card is authorised using the maximum advertised weight. We enter the actual weight before dispatch and capture only the final amount. Any unused authorisation is released by the bank.

Can I add products to an existing order?

Eligible next-day local-delivery orders can be added to before the 8pm cut-off. The original order and delivery details must match for security.

How do I order using a credit account?

Create a website account and request approval from Salad Days Finance. Once approved and linked to the correct Sage account, the credit-account option appears at checkout.

What happens if my account is over its limit or has an overdue invoice?

Credit ordering is blocked when the new order would exceed the available credit or an invoice is at least one day overdue. You can still pay for the new order by card.

Where can I find invoices?

Website orders are shown under My Account. Sage invoice downloads are being introduced for approved credit-account customers and will appear after the account has synchronised.
